Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, modifies the shape and function of the nose to meet aesthetic standards and improve breathing. It can reduce or increase the size, eliminate the nasal hump, change the shape or lift the tip, straighten the nasal bridge, narrow the width of the wings, adjust the angle between the nose and upper lip, correct nostril asymmetry, and align the nasal septum.
Depending on the case's complexity, the surgeon may choose a closed rhinoplasty, accessing the inside of the nose through the nostrils, or an open rhinoplasty, making an incision between the nostrils for better access to the nasal cartilage and bones. A primary rhinoplasty is the first nose surgery, while a secondary rhinoplasty addresses a previously operated nose that didn't achieve the desired results. Complex reconstructions may require a rib cartilage graft.

He completed his training in prestigious international centers such as the Ivo Pitanguy Institute in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan; the Toronto General Hospital of Canada; and the Manuel Gea González General Hospital in Mexico City. He is an active member of the Spanish Society of Plastic Surgery (SECPRE); the Spanish Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (AECEP); the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS); the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS); and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
Dr. Felipe Pinzón became a specialist in Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca in Murcia and completed a Fellowship in Rhinoplasty under the mentorship of the prestigious surgeon Professor Süreyya Şeneldir, in Turkey. In addition, he has the title of University Specialist in Facial Medicine and Aesthetic Surgery, a Master in Aesthetic Medicine & Anti-Ageing, and a Master in Applied Anatomy.
