Dr. Lloyd Nanhekhan obtained his Master’s Degree in Medicine at Leiden University in the Netherlands. He completed his Plastic Surgery residency at Maastricht University, followed by several fellowships at the University of Utah Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic in the United States; the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan; the Institut de la Main in France; and the Gent University Hospital in Belgium. He also holds a degree in Surgical Leadership from Harvard University. He held medical posts in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Abu Dhabi. He is a registered plastic surgeon at the Col·legi de Metges de Barcelona with number 61116 and is an active member of the Spanish Society of Plastic Surgery (SECPRE), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgeons (RBSPS), the Dutch Society of Plastic Surgeons (NVPC), and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

Dra. Teresa Núñez-Villaveirán earned her medical degree from the University of Navarra, among the top students in her class. She completed her residency in General Surgery at the Metropolitan Group Hospital of the University of Illinois in Chicago. She specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at La Paz Hospital in Madrid, followed by a subspecialty fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and the Akron Children's Hospital in the United States. She defended her doctoral thesis 'A Facial Transplant Model that Includes the Temporomandibular Joint', a thesis that received the Best Research Publication of the Year Award from the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery (ASMS). She is an active member of the Spanish Society of Plastic Surgery (SECPRE); the Spanish Association of Microsurgery (AEM); the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS); the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and national delegate and secretary general of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (UEMS/EBOPRAS).
